Cubs Jan 2022- Making Ballistas

On their return to cubs after Christmas the cubs have been busy making Ballistas- a basic pioneering project using bamboo canes, elastic bands, small cups and rope to create a catapult.
The Cubs had great fun aiming for targets and taking part in some heated competitions. One of the key life skills learnt was how to tie a clove hitch knot; which is commonly used for securing something quickly such as a carabiner.
