Remembrance Sunday 2021

Date: 30th Nov 2021 Author: Scout Websites

All of our Oxted Scout sections took park in the Remembrance Parade on Sunday the 14th of November in Oxted town centre.

Youngsters from Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers took part in the parade walking from the Royal British Legion to the war memorial where they, along with members of the general public, took part in a short service. A huge thank you to the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers who laid the wreaths to help show our support.

Comments from the local community included “a credit to Oxted and lovely to see them parade again this year” and “fantastic effort, you did you troops, families, friends and community proud”.
