Remembrance Sunday 2021
All of our Oxted Scout sections took park in the Remembrance Parade on Sunday the 14th of November in Oxted town centre.
Youngsters from Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers took part in the parade walking from the Royal British Legion to the war memorial where they, along with members of the general public, took part in a short service. A huge thank you to the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers who laid the wreaths to help show our support.

After the memorial all of the Youngsters continued the Parade to St. Mary’s Church where a small number joined the church service and observed the minutes silence.
Comments from the local community included “a credit to Oxted and lovely to see them parade again this year” and “fantastic effort, you did you troops, families, friends and community proud”.

Our Hurst Green Scouts and Cubs also joined the Remembrance Service and Parade in Hurst Green.
A huge thank you for all of the youngsters who attended and the adults for their continued support. As well as the leaders for giving their time.
We Will Remember Them.
